How Many Jellyfish Should You Buy

The rule of thumb on how many jellies you can keep in your tank is one inch of bell diameter per gallon of water. Very much like the 1″ per gallon for regular fish. That means if you have a 5 gallon Desktop Tank you can keep three, two inch diameter jellyfish = 6″ total. Jellies, like tropical fish grow to a size that the filtration will support. This means that depending on your tanks filter capacity you may be able to keep more or less inches of Jellyfish per gallon. Our systems can support more than 1 inch per gallon!
